NT-proBNP
NT-proBNP is also called amino-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide, which is actually one of the chemical structures after the degradation of BNP precursor, which can be understood as the metabolite of BNP. It is biologically inactive and appears in the same amount as biologically active BNP.
