Malaria
Malaria is an insect-borne infectious disease caused by the infection of Plasmodium through the bite of Anopheles mosquitoes or the transfusion of the blood of a person carrying Plasmodium. There are four species of Plasmodium parasites that live in humans, namely Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium malaria, Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium ovale. In my country, it is mainly Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum; the other two species are rare, and some cases imported from abroad have been occasionally seen in recent years. Different malaria parasites cause Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium falciparum, and Plasmodium ovale, respectively. The disease is mainly manifested as periodic and regular attacks, with chills, fever, and sweating all over the body. After repeated attacks for a long time, it can cause anemia and splenomegaly.
